FAITH IN WORDSA Poet's CreedThis compilation of spiritual and devotional poems was written and produced by Dr. J. D. Chapman, a medical biophysicist, who has tried to put into meaningful words his deepest thought about both physical and spiritual realities. He mainains a strong Christian faith and places great emphasis on ones ability to describe and defend ones personal religious convictions at the intellectual level that is required for ones daily living. Consequently, he is a strong advocate of continuous adult education in church programs. Without such learning, our personal theology will remain at the grade-school level while our careers demand a much higher level of intellect. But knowledge alone is not sufficient. Wisdom can only come slowly through the practice of faithful Christian witness.
